AMECC – PHUOC THAI 1 SOLAR POWER PLANT WAS OFFICIALLY COMPLETED AND HANDED OVER TO EVN INVESTOR

Mr. Nguyen Tai Anh, Deputy General Director of Electricity of Vietnam (EVN), the Chairman of the Investor Acceptance & inspection board of EVN, and the members of the board, have inspected, accepted and agreed to put the Phuoc Thai 1 solar power plant into use.

Phuoc Thai 1 Solar Power Plant is located in Phuoc Thai Commune, Ninh Phuoc District, Ninh Thuan Province with a capacity of 50Mw, groundbreaking on September 26, 2019. On the rocky wilderness land, where the engineers and workers built successfully the solar power plant.

Phuoc Thai 1 solar power plant has a capacity of 50MWp, using polycrystalline photovoltaic panel technology, and central-type inverter. Along with that, to build Phuoc Thai 220kV transformer station, with a capacity of 2x125 MW. At the investment stage of Phuoc Thai 1 solar power plant, pre-installed 1 transformer of 125MVA and synchronous equipment systems. Constructing a dual circuit 220kV line with the length of 2.3km, at present to connect 01 circuit of 220kV dual circuit line from Vinh Tan to Thap Cham.

In addition, construction works for auxiliary items, synchronous items, control system, remote monitoring, monitoring station...

Through the assessment of the Acceptance & inspection board, the scope & quantity of implemented works met the approved design. The quality of the work, the construction and installation of the items met the design requirements, technical instructions and installation instructions of the equipment supplier.

AMECC Mechanical Construction Joint Stock Company is a member of the EPC Contractor consortium. With more than 300 days and nights, the Board of Directors of the company, the Site Management Board and all officers and employees at the project site, with the support and assistance of the units such as: Electricity Management Board 3, PECC1 supervision consultancy, PECC5 design consultancy, Electrical Construction 1. On July 31, 2020 the project was officially completed and handed over to the Investor (EVN).

For encouraging and commending the staffs, the site management board, who has successfully completed the emulation commitments, on 1 August 2020, the Board of Directors of the company, the Company union executive board issued a Reward decision Nr.0108-QDKT. Basing on the above decision, today, AMECC Trade Union Executive Board held a ceremony to summarize and reward with the joy of familiar faces on the construction site.
