On April 19, 2017, the contract signing ceremony on 3rd time repair & maintenance (turn-around) for the Dung Quat refinery, between Amecc and Hiap Seng, was held at Quang Ngai City, under the witness of leaders of two parties, and the representatives of of the investor (Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Company Limited)

At this repair period, Amecc performs the most important mechanical works, deciding on the success of the project, Unit 15 (oil cracking area) including cracking towers, valves, expansion joints... For executing these works, Amecc will mobilize over 250 skilled workers with many types, such as welders for P91 alloy steel, incorloy, stainless steel... Mobilize big equipment such as cranes 300T, 220T, 150T, metal water cutting equipment.

Currently, Amecc engineers, together with Hiap Seng experts and BSR are preparing the method, detailed construction schedule.

Amecc is known as a capable contractor in the field of maintenance and repair of plants such as: coal-fired power plants, petrochemicals, chemicals... Amecc is currently working with PEC on participating in commissioning, regular maintenance of the Nghi Son refinery project, along with TTCL-Thaland, taking part in maintenance of Thai Binh ANP explosive factory.

Amecc is also known as a contractor who owns high quality human resources in the field of repair and maintenance. The engineers, skilled workers of Amecc who have almost participated in the installation of coal-fired thermal power plants, big refinery & petrochemicals, chemicals plants, and participated the 1^st repair and maintenance, the 2^nd time repair and maintenance for Dung Quat Oil Refinery.
