103^th ANNIVERSARY OF INTERNATIONAL WOMEN DAY

Every year, on 8th March, all women on the world, among who Vietnamese women formally hold a meeting for their day. The women day is the result of silent & long-last struggle of millions of women over the world.

On 8-3-1857 the workers of textile industry had struggled against bad & difficult working condition in New York city (America) on 12 working hours per day. On 8-3-1908, 15,000 women hold a demonstration on the streets of New York, claim for decreasing working hours, increasing salary and canceling forcing children to work.

Until 8-3-1910 at the 2nd international women conference, 100 delegates of 17 countries claim for women election right, and a Germany women proposed to choose one specific day as International women day for thank to the women on the world who struggled for their right. The conference agreed to choose 8-3 as International women day, or as well as called "the Inter-nation day for women right and international peace". As instructed by the Company Trade Union, as agreed by the Management board, on the morning of 8-3-2013, the women board of LISEMCO 2 formally hold 103th anniversary of international women day.

Attended the anniversary, for the Directors' board- Mr Nguyen Van Tho- The party committee secretary- Company general director. And for the Trade Union- Mr. Le Dinh Tu- the trade union chairman, and others of directors board, as well as other leaders of departments & units of the Company.

The anniversary took place with glad atmosphere, solidary. The women looked back to history and struggle tradition for women right and international peace of international women through out past 103 years.
