LISEMCO 2 WITH OVERBRIDGE PROJECT AT THE DAEWOO INTERSECTION

Aiming to minimize traffic jam, at intersection between Nguyen Chi Thanh street, Kim Ma street and Lieu Giai street, Hanoi department on traffic and transportation approved the Overbridge project at Kim Ma-Nguyen Chi Thanh intersection (also called Daewoo intersection).

Relating to this, on 06/02/2013 (right on Lunar new year holidays), the Commencement Ceremony for the Daewoo intersection was held under witness of Hanoi resident crowds.

Daewoo intersection has total length of over 300m, 17m width, and principle meridian of 1 m. With total investment sum up to VND 300 billions. This project will be constructed during 9 months and expected to traffic opening at the end of October 2013.

For this project LISEMCO 2 is in charge of fabrication for all head girders, 02 span structures at the ends and 01 span structure in the middle, with total weight of 752 tons. Right on the Lunar New Year holidays, LISEMCO 2 quickly prepared manpower as well as equipment and started fabrication work.

Under witness of so many Hanoi residents, in the very early morning of 9^th Jul 2013, the first head girder onto the foundation of the Overbridge. LISEMCO 2 commits to complete fabrication and deliver to the site all the head girders in July 2013.

So, the Overbridge at Daewoo intersection will be completed and traffic-open in September 2013, it is one month earlier than intended plan.
