LISEMCO 2 WITH THAI BINH 2 THERMAL POWER PLANT

On  March 06^th 2014, at the office of Petrovietnam Construction Joint Stock Corporation (PVC), Joint Venture of Lisemco 2 Joint Stock Company and Hoang Anh lifting equipments and steel structures Joint Stock company and PVC agreed to enter into a contract agreement subjecting “detailed design, supply of material & equipment, installation, test,  and register of one 130/25 ton overhead crane in turbine house – Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power Plant Project”

Thai Binh 2 thermal power plant with the capacity 1200 MW and total investment of over VND 34,295 billions equally USD 1.7 billion was commenced in 2012 and shall be completed in 2016 as estimation. Thai Binh 2 plant shall be used traditional coal boiler with powder coal is allowed to import from Vietnam national coal – mineral industries holding corporation by ministry of industry and commerce. This is an important project of target and strategy to develop power resource of Petrovietnam Construction Joint Stock Corporation until 2015 and orient up to 2025. Unit No. 1 is planned to generate power at the term III in 2015 and Unit No. 2 in the early of 2016. After entering into national electricity network, Thai Binh 2 thermal power plant not only has a part in servicing the national power, but also impulse the development of social economy, transfer the economic structure of Thai Binh province in particular and entire country in general.

Understanding the importance of project, immediately after signing contract, the Joint Venture has been focused on developing the work, commit owner to ensure the technical requirements and project schedule of 180 days, whereby contribute for the general success of this power developing strategy.
