FABRICATION CONTRACT SIGNING FOR NGHI SON 1 THERMAL POWER PLANT PROJECT

LISEMCO 2 and Song Da Jurong Construction had signed Contract of providing, fabricating steel structures for Project of Nghi Son I therml power plant. The total Contract amount is 1.4 million (excludes material expenses). Execution period from June 1st, 2011 to December 31st, 2011.

Accordingly, Contractor’s scope of works:

- Providing, fabricating 1654 tons steel structures for Turbine, Bunker and ancillary buildings.

- Providing, fabricating 720 tons stacks.

LISEMCO 2 is responsible for shop drawing, fabricating and trial assembly, and handling over steel structures to Song Da Jurong Construction Company at LISEMCO 2 workshop.

Nghi Son 1 thermal power plant whose Owner is Vietnam Electricity (EVN) is located on the land area of 350 ha in Nghi Son Economic Zone, Hai Ha and Hai Thuong Commune, Tinh Gia District, Thanh Hoa Province. Project’s total investment capital is more than 22,000 billions VND, of which 85% is ODA from the the Government of Japan. Nghi Son I thermal power plant consists of two units with the total capacity of 600 MW, annually provides 3.6 billions kWh electricity output.

Nghi Son 1 thermal power using coal, applying technology of traditional thermal-steam condensation and modern burning technology suitable for Antraxit coal in Vietnam. This is the most important factors having influence on designing and constructing this plant in order to meet the Vietnamese and international environmental protection standards.

Nghi Son 1 thermal power plant belongs to Nghi Son Electricity Centre which greatly contributes to the development of Thanh Hoa different Industry sectors typically is oil refinery, cement and steel industry, meanwhile contributing to the socio-economic development of Thanh Hoa province in particular and North-Central area in general, providing a large amount of Electricity output anually.
