Amecc organizes a ceremony to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8th

Under the guidance of the Trade Union Executive Committee and with the unanimous agreement of the Leadership Board, on March 8th, 2023, the Women's Union Committee of the AMECC Construction Mechanical Joint Stock Company solemnly organized a ceremony to celebrate International Women's Day. This event aimed to honor the value of women, reminisce about the heroic memories that half of the world has contributed to history, and further strengthen and support their spirit for the future. The ceremony was attended by all female staff of the AMECC Construction Mechanical Joint Stock Company, as well as sisters from affiliated companies.

Attending the program was also the presence of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ngoi – Founder of the AMECC Charity Fund and concurrently the mother of the company's General Director.

While there is only one March 8th each year, every woman has 365 days in a year to be a wife and a mother. On this significant occasion, on behalf of the company's Leadership Board, General Director Nguyen Van Tho extended congratulations and gratitude to all female staff members of AMECC. Moreover, the event was graced by the presence of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ngoi – the Founder of the AMECC Charity Fund and, at the same time, the mother of the company's General Director. The General Director expressed profound gratitude to all women for their dedicated care and nurturing for their families. He also appreciated the heartfelt contributions and intellectual inputs of these women toward the company's development.

Director Nguyen Van Tho extended congratulations and heartfelt gratitude to all female employees of AMECC Group.

Furthermore, on behalf of the Trade Union Executive Committee, the Trade Union Chairman, Mr. Nguyen Huu Phong, also extends the best wishes to the mothers, sisters, and wives of male colleagues who have been the strong support behind their career paths, enabling them to work with peace of mind. He also acknowledges the female colleagues in the company who have been companions in the continuous growth and development journey of AMECC.

On behalf of the Trade Union Executive Committee, Chairman Nguyen Huu Phong also extends the best wishes to the mothers, sisters, and wives who are not just employees of the company but also the strong support behind their male colleagues' career development paths.

In response to the well-wishes from the Leadership Board and the Trade Union Executive Committee, Ms. Do Thi Thai – Head of the Women's Union Committee of the company, revisited the tradition of International Women's Day and expressed profound gratitude on behalf of the female staff. She conveyed heartfelt thanks to the company's Leadership Board, affiliated companies, departments, and units within the company for their care, support, and efforts in organizing a warm and affectionate celebration for all women.

Ms. Do Thi Thai – Head of the Women's Union Committee, reciprocated the congratulations and expressed gratitude to the company's Leadership Board and the Trade Union Executive Committee for their care towards women in general and the development of the Women's Union Committee in particular.

Alongside the well-wishes, on this commemorative occasion, the company's Leadership Board, along with representatives from affiliated companies and departments, presented the most vibrant flowers to the women of the AMECC Group.

The spring sun radiates amidst the Eighth day, awaiting us!

Together with the vibrant atmosphere of the program, employees from various departments added joy through their incredibly unique and special cultural performances.

The Amecc Construction Mechanical Joint Stock Company, formerly known as LISEMCO 2, established the Women's Union Committee with just 13 members initially. Throughout its development journey, the current Women's Union Committee at AMECC is operating with 168 members – a number not exceptionally large, yet it signifies the dedication and effort of these women towards the growth of the Women's Union Committee specifically and the entire company as a whole.

In our country, March 8th is also commemorated as the anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising, where these two national female heroes were the first to repel northern invaders, reclaiming national sovereignty. Their actions provide a shining example for us to follow and instill pride in the indomitable spirit of Vietnamese women. The Hai Ba Trung Uprising stands as a testament to the immense strength of Vietnamese women in the nation's construction and defense, inscribing an intense chapter in history that shall forever echo through generations.

At the end of the program, the organizing committee created a joyful playground with individual and team games to uplift the spirits of the women, accompanied by small gifts as tokens of celebration for this congratulatory event.

Once again, on International Women's Day, March 8th, I wish all the women of AMECC a joyful and fulfilling day with their families. March 8th is a day to compensate for the hard work of mothers, the resilience of wives who diligently build and nurture family nests, and the active, passionate engagement in social work. Above all, not just today, but every day, I wish all women to be filled with joy, health, happiness, and continuous growth in their careers.
