AMECC - PARTICIPATING IN THE PROJECT NAME ATTACHMENT CEREMONY OF PHUOC THAI 1 POWER PLANT

The project is invested by EVN with a total capital of 1,113 billion VND, including: solar power plant with a capacity of 50MWp, Phuoc Thai 220 kV transformer station; 2-circuit 220 kV line with 2.3 km length and synchronous items and remote control and monitoring system, monitoring station... After 9 months of construction, the work was completed on 31/7/2020 and on October 12, 2020, the plant generated 20,793,000 kWh to the national power grid.

According to Mr. Nguyen Vinh Quang - Director of Power Project Management Unit 3, the project implementation time is affected by the COVID-19, so the handover of the site to the construction unit faces many difficulties. Construction resources at the construction site are also significantly affected. However, with the close attention of the political system of Ninh Thuan province, as well as the EVN Party Committee, EVN's leaders, the Power Project Management Board 3 has soon completed the project. This is also the result of the labor emulation movement, striving to successfully complete all assigned tasks of EVNPMB3.

From the beginning of 2019 up to now, there have been more than 6,300MWp of total installed capacity of renewable energy projects nationwide, contributing to ensuring electricity supply for the national power system. However, a very large number of projects are concentrated in Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan areas with a very fast development speed, leading to a situation that part of the capacity has not been fully mobilized. Over the past two years, EVN, the National Power Transmission Corporation have concentrated all resources to put many important power transmission projects into operation ahead of schedule, as well as propose additional Planning adjustment of many power grid projects in order to release renewable energy capacity to the national power grid.

At the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Huu Tuan - EVN's Permanent Deputy Secretary, on behalf of the Party Committee and EVN leaders warmly praised the project management unit, the contractors for their efforts to overcome all difficulties to bring works put into operation in excess of schedule. In which, AMECC Mechanical Construction Joint Stock Company was honored to receive the Certificate of Merit in accordance with the Decision of EVN's leaders.
