PHUOC THAI 1 SOLAR POWER PLANT WAS SUCCESSFULLY CONNECTED TO THE NATIONAL ELECTRICITY NETWORK AND COMPLETED THE 90-DAY ELECTRICITY GENERATION TARGET

Phuoc Thai 1 Solar Power Plant Project (in Ninh Phuoc district, Ninh Thuan province) is invested by Electricity of Vietnam, assigned EVNPMB 3 for managing the project, with a total investment. VND 1,113 billions.

Phuoc Thai 1 Solar Power Plant has generated 219,000 kWh

Phuoc Thai 1 Solar Power Plant has a capacity of 50MWp, using multi-crystal photovoltaic panels, center-type inverter.

Also in this project, EVN invested for constructing the Phuoc Thai 22 / 220kV Substation with a capacity of 2x125MVA. In the investment phase of Phuoc Thai 1 Solar Power Plant, pre-installation work had done for a 125MVA transformer and its synchronous equipment systems.

Along with that is the dual-circuit 220kV line with a length of 2.3km, for the immediate future, it is transitionally connected on an existing 220kV dual-circuit line of 220kV Vinh Tan - Thap Cham (currently the BIM - Thap Cham line). Further more there are also the project items for construction of synchronized items and control systems, remote monitoring, monitoring stations, ...

Up to now, the project has achieved more than 95% of the whole project schedule. In which, the completed items and safely connected include: 220kV transformer station, 220kV connection line and 22kV construction power supply line.

The plant has built and tested on 6/9 battery areas (areas No.: 3, 5, 6 and 7, 8, 9), contributed to the national electricity system 219,000 kWh of electricity, and prepared to trial generation for the three rest areas (areas 1, 2 and 4).

EVNPMB 3 is currently urging EPC contractor to mobilize all resources, strive to commercial commissioning (from 5^th to 24^th of July 2020); acceptance of the entire project (from 25^th to 31^st of July 2020)
