AMECC Group Joins Hands to Support Communities After Typhoon No. 3 Yagi

Typhoon No. 3 Yagi, with its devastating power, has caused significant damage to the northern mountainous provinces of Vietnam. In this challenging context, Amecc Construction Mechanical Joint Stock Company not only stands firm as a leading and robust enterprise but also demonstrates a spirit of compassion and social responsibility. With a sharing mindset, AMECC has organized practical support activities to assist those in need, including the families of its employees and workers.

Supporting Employees in Need

Immediately after Typhoon No. 3 Yagi swept through, AMECC's leadership swiftly implemented plans to support employees facing difficult circumstances. Through careful assessments and direct surveys, the company provided financial assistance and timely encouragement to the families of employees affected by the storm. With the motto "leave no one behind," AMECC has committed to delivering prompt and comprehensive support to those in need, addressing not only financial aspects but also emotional support.

A representative from AMECC shared, “For us, employees are not just workers; they are part of the AMECC family. Whenever they face difficulties, we are always here to share and help.” This care and concern serve not only as a significant encouragement for individuals and their families but also demonstrate AMECC's commitment to fostering a humane and cohesive work environment.

Contributing to the Community through Organizations

With a spirit of sharing and community responsibility, AMECC has decided to contribute a total of 200 million VND to support localities severely affected by Typhoon Yagi. This support has been donated through the Hai Phong Youth Union and the Central Committee for Propaganda and Education of the Youth Union, ensuring that the assistance reaches the right places and the people in need.

Specifically, AMECC has allocated 150 million VND to three provinces directly impacted by the storm, including:

  • Cao Bang Province: 50 million VND
  • Yen Bai Province: 50 million VND
  • Lao Cai Province: 50 million VND

These localities have suffered significant damage to infrastructure, housing, and agricultural land. Many families have faced hardships and losses due to the storm, and AMECC's support serves as a significant morale booster, helping them through this challenging period.

Additionally, the company has contributed 50 million VND through the Central Committee for Propaganda and Education of the Youth Union to assist Tuyen Quang Province, which has also been affected by prolonged heavy rains. Through this support, AMECC hopes to help alleviate some of the burdens faced by the residents in this area.

Visiting the Family of Lieutenant Tang Ba Hung – A Hero in Everyone's Heart

In addition to providing financial support to the affected provinces, AMECC also dedicated time to visit and pay tribute to individuals who sacrificed their lives in the aftermath of the storm. During a visit to An Lao District, the AMECC delegation lit incense and expressed their deepest condolences to the family of Lieutenant Tang Ba Hung, who bravely lost his life while carrying out rescue and recovery efforts after Typhoon Yagi. Lieutenant Tang Ba Hung is a shining example of courage and selfless dedication to the community.

The visit took place in a solemn and deeply emotional atmosphere, where the AMECC delegation presented a small financial support package to help the family of Lieutenant Hung cope with their loss. They also expressed profound gratitude for Lieutenant Hung's significant contributions and sacrifices.

AMECC's actions in supporting the community after Typhoon Yagi are not just material contributions; they also exemplify the company's spirit of social responsibility. AMECC places great importance on contributing to the sustainable development of the community and the nation, especially during challenging times like natural disasters.
