AMECC Strengthens Cooperation with Japanese Partners, Expanding Steel Structure Manufacturing Capacity

Amid the growing demand for construction and industrial development in Japan, AMECC Mechanical Construction Joint Stock Company (Vietnam) continues to affirm its position as a trusted partner of Japanese enterprises in the field of large-scale steel structure fabrication and supply.

Through its cooperation with major Japanese corporations and contractors, AMECC has participated in supplying steel structures for a number of significant projects in Japan, contributing to the enhancement of its production capacity while expanding international collaboration in the mechanical and construction industries.

Participating in the Supply Chain of Major Construction Projects in Japan

According to information from projects scheduled for 2026, several large-scale developments are currently underway in Japan, including the following notable projects:

Yokohama Waterfront Development Project (A-1 District)

The “Yokohama Naka Ward Waterfront Development Project” is one of the modern urban developments currently being implemented in Kanagawa Prefecture.

The project features a large-scale structure with:

  • Height of approximately 100 meters
  • 21 above-ground floors and 1 basement level
  • Total floor area of approximately 70,000 m²
  • Total steel structure volume of about 10,300 tons

The building adopts a steel structure combined with reinforced concrete construction. The project was designed by Mitsubishi Jisho Sekkei and constructed by Kajima Corporation, with completion expected in January 2027.

DENSO Zenmyo Minami New Factory Project

In addition to urban development projects, Japan is also expanding its industrial manufacturing infrastructure. One of the notable projects is the new DENSO factory in Aichi Prefecture.

The project includes:

  • 3 above-ground floors and 1 rooftop level
  • Height of approximately 21.5 meters
  • Total floor area of approximately 90,577 m²
  • Steel structure volume of about 16,632 tons

The project is designed and constructed by Obayashi Corporation and is expected to be completed in 2027. The new facility will help expand the production capacity of DENSO, one of the world’s leading automotive component manufacturers.
