Amecc successfully fabricated and transferred the installation of the main beam for Boiler No. 1 of the Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant Project

This achievement marks an important step in executing the contract package for fabricating the entire steel structure of the boiler at the Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant Project. Located in Vinh Son village, Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province, this project is part of the National Power Development Plan for the 2011–2020 period with a vision to 2030, approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 428/QD-TTg, dated March 18, 2016.

The project consists of two generating units with a total installed capacity of 1,200 MW. Once operational, the plant will supply the National Power System with approximately 8.4 billion kWh annually, making a positive contribution to the nation’s energy supply. The project has a total investment of 41,130 billion VND, equivalent to 1.86 billion USD, with 30% of the funding provided by Vietnam Electricity (EVN).
