Spreading a Culture of Safety from the Workplace to the Family

The contest was organized to create a meaningful and creative platform for the children of AMECC employees. Through their artworks, the children were able to express their feelings and perspectives on their parents’ work, while also conveying the message: “Work Safely – Return Home Safely.” Each artwork serves as a heartfelt reminder about safety, helping transform safety rules and principles into awareness and a sense of personal responsibility among employees toward themselves, their families, and the loved ones who wait for them to come home safely every day.

The contest was launched on 20 August 2026, with submissions accepted on 3–4 September 2026, and was open to the children of employees currently working at AMECC. Contestants were divided into three age groups: Group A (6–10 years old), Group B (11–14 years old), and Group C (15–18 years old). Participants could choose one of two themes: “Safety at Work,” portraying AMECC employees complying with the company’s five workplace standards, or “AMECC Family Culture,” expressing children’s emotional perspectives on their parents’ safety.

43 Artworks, 43 Messages of Love

The Organizing Committee received a total of 43 entries. In accordance with the contest criteria, drawing technique was not the primary focus; greater importance was placed on ideas, messages, and stories capable of touching the hearts of viewers. Many artworks were particularly moving because of simple yet sincere messages such as “Mom and Dad, please come home safely” or “Dad, please be careful at work.”

The Jury consisted of:

• Mr. Nguyễn Long – Director of the HSE Department
• Ms. Trần Thị Quý – Deputy Director of the Administration and Human Resources Department
• Mr. Hà Xuân Hoàn – Head of the HR & Administration Department – MCC

The artworks were evaluated based on five criteria: content and message; significance in reflecting AMECC Family Culture; creativity and originality; impressive slogans/banners; and harmonious composition and use of color.

"At noon on September 24, 2026, in the meeting room, the Organizing Committee held the Award Ceremony for the 'AMECC in My Eyes' drawing competition:"

Mr. Lưu Xuân Thanh, Deputy General Director, personally presented certificates of merit and awards to the parents who are AMECC employees whose children won prizes.

The certificates presented today not only recognize the children’s creativity, but also remind every AMECC employee that they always have a reason to work safely: their families are waiting for them to return home after every shift.

The prize structure included 02 First Prizes (VND 3,000,000 each), 02 Second Prizes (VND 2,000,000 each), 02 Third Prizes (VND 1,000,000 each), and Consolation Prizes (VND 300,000 each). Each award consisted of a certificate of merit and a cash prize, which were sent to the Trade Unions of the respective units for direct presentation to the parents who are AMECC employees whose children received awards.

Closing Remarks

The Organizing Committee sincerely congratulates all families whose children won prizes and extends its appreciation to all AMECC employees for their enthusiastic participation throughout the contest. The children’s drawings serve as a simple yet powerful reminder that workplace safety is not merely a rule or requirement, but also a promise to return safely to one’s family after every shift.
