MONG DUONG 1 THERMAL POWER PLANT- PROUD ACHIEVEMENT FROM DIFFICULTIES

We are on the way coming back to Mong Duong 1 thermal power plant site, one early winter day. Cold wind seem to bring a mild feeling.  The distance of 120 km trip is seemingly nearer and nearer with the emotion of looking forward to meet the colleagues again, and of seeing the achievement, proud result, of nearly one year on that lisemco 2 staffs and workers tried their best and spent all effort to reach.

Time elapses fast! For nearly one year since the first days we have begun to build temporary camp, housing, material yard, check welder’s qualification….Now, in front of us is the stack, coal storage house, turbine house, tanks, boilers, a bulky construction. A thermal power plant with high capacity are nearly completed, which will bring big economical value to the zone of country.

Getting conversation with Mr. Nguyen Van Dung- Deputy Director of Enterprise 2-3- leader of Lisemco 2 at site, we understand thoroughly all difficulties and obstacles, which our workers here must face, such as high work volume, urgent time schedule, strict technical requirement, all welding joints must be inspected by UT. The material is asynchronous. Number of piping welder with high qualification is limited. However which all cannot made the workers discouraged, who are always devote their best for construction. They have taken it in turns to work overtime, incessantly learn more and more, improve skill and follow closely schedule, meet the requirement and receive compliments from the main contractor.

Up to now, Enterprise 2-3 has already completed over 50% work volume. Contacting to the hard workers we penetrate their proudness of being workers of Lisemco 2. By the engrossed spirit for work as well as the close care and encouragement of company leaders board, we believe that Lisemco 2 workers shall complete well their work and meet the approved time schedule of the main contractor.
