Phuoc Thai 1 solar power project in phase 1 of Phuoc Thai solar power project was approved by the Prime Minister to be added to Power Master Plan VII in Document No. 356/TTg-CN dated March 9, 2017. The project is invested by EVN, has 3 factories with a total capacity of 200MW, the land area is about 101.46 ha, located in Phuoc Thai commune; In which, Phuoc Thai 1 Solar Power Plant has a capacity of 50MW, total investment is about 1,403 billion VND, Phuoc Thai 2 and 3 Solar Power Plants has a total capacity of 150MW, total investment is about 4.209 billion VND.
The items of Phuoc Thai 1 solar power project include main plant, 22/220kV transformer station, 220kV 2-circuit line, synchronous items and auxiliary works for construction... Phuoc Thai 1 solar power project is expected to be completed in July 2020, when put into operation, the project will add about 80 million kWh/year to the national power system industry, contributing to increasing new capacity for the. industry, and at the same time contribute to promoting socio-economic development of Ninh Thuan province./.
