AMECC - CA MAU NPK FERTILIZER PROJECT TRIAL OPERATION
AMECC Mechanical Construction Joint Stock Company, performing the Package No. 5: EPC of the Compound Urea fertilizer production from molten Urea with a capacity of 300,000 tons/year.
Ca Mau NPK Fertilizer project is managed and operated by PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (PVCFC). Ca Mau Fertilizer Plant is located in Ca Mau Gas-Power-Fertilizer Industrial Zone in Khanh An Commune, U Minh District, Ca Mau province, Vietnam.
PVCFC implements the investment project for building a factory for producing compound fertilizer from molten urea with a capacity of 300,000 tons/year at Ca Mau compound fertilizer Plant by using urea melting technology, for producing NPK fertilizer.
AMECC Joint Venture is contractor with many years of experience in the field of engineering, procurement, construction…of projects in the field of fertilizer, chemicals, oil and gas. All of the design areas offered in Package 5 have cost savings on personnel, technical equipment...so the price has been pretty much reduced. Time period proposed by contractor for performing the contract is 530 days, shorter 10 days compared to the requirements from the Bidding Documents.
The factory perspective when completed
On 04/05/2020 the factory operated and trial running at low capacity to check for errors arising when applying new technology of ESPINDESA

On 10/05/2020, the plant will run to determine the time point for 72-hour operation, expected capacity of 70 tons in this 72-hour running.
